Just love that snow shoeing

Whoo hoo Mill Creek, just beautiful!!

Sunsets, glorious sunsets

Glorious sunsets across the snow, ice and mountains. Travelling home we inevitably see people fishing on the ice ...........as night falls they light fires on the ice to keep warm! Some people put up tents but many don't bother - after all it is only -25!!!!!

liesaving Ouray style!

Hot springs are really popular here............Here the poor lifesavers shivers in the snow while kids frisk about in the hot spring fed waters! No we didn't give it a try!!!
Ouray is just beautiful with fabulous archiecture and of course the wonderful mountains are always in the background!!!!!!!!

Home from home in Denver

Had a great stay with Ruth and Jordan in Denver........they are picking Caleb up from the airport today and i hope to drive over and see them all in Denver tomorrow night........before I head off to more universities and Caleb heads off to see Roger in Gunnison. loved the walk with these guys........squirrels, geese, and of course very entertaining conversations.

Back to work!

What a shock!!! Currently visiting universities in Colorado. This is at Greeley near Denver - renowned for its cattle and associated aromas of cow dung!!!! Had a great day meeting students and academics.........will start doing "mini- lectures' with business students over the coming weeks. Just watching the snow fall and I wonder if I am going to get over Monarch pass????!!!!!!
